We successfully made $600 worth of sushi for S's family and friends at their home for $130. Vegetarian sushi is so inexpensive and easy to make if you don't like raw fish. I like both but probably won't splurge and go out of my way to make sushi with raw fish all the time. Tomorrow night is our sushi making night with friends at our house. I'll post pictures if there are any to post. It will be an adventure of epic-ness and awesome-ness.
I decided that this year I needed to can tomato sauce because last year I froze so many tomatoes that our freezer was full. Unusable... aside from all the beautiful tomatoes I had in the winter. So, this is the story (in pictures) of canning with A and S. We spent about 8 hours canning one day. Tomatoes, peaches and apricot jam. Aside from the fact that we haven't tasted the canned food, and therefore don't know if it is edible, I think it was a successful endeavor. :-)
