Raw Cereal

I recently bought a raw sprouted grain instant cereal. It looks like the shape of quick oats. The guy who makes it lives in Saskatchewan and 10% of his profits go to charity. The website is not available yet but when it is, the website url is:

1 306 666 4800

You can sprinkle this on a mix of berries, nuts, other kinds of fruit, for breakfast... or if you aren't quite a raw foodie, you can sprinkle it on yogurt or combinations of all these things. :-) I tried making a pancake with this mix the other day too. I am trying to eat mainly rye flour and the first ingredient in this cereal is rye (the other three ingredients are wheat, flax and hemp). The guy who makes this didn't intend for you to do this but I'm doing it anyway:

Breakfast Choice Plus Pancakes
2 cups of breakfast choice plus (ground... I use a coffee grinder to do all my grinding)
2 eggs
1/8 cup flax (freshly ground)
and goat milk, buttermilk or almond milk

Mix in milk until the right consistency.

These were delicious. Not really a raw food recipe but a great alternative to regular pancakes.
